Brief Description: Flight #14 Flt test #8B, climbs/descents 1:29
After reviewing the data from the last flight, I needed to do more climbs/descents to improve the data collected. Again used Cloudahoy, stepping a second at a time, to extract some good climb numbers. Used that data and some good point from last flight to generate the Vx-Vy plot in Image 2. I used Excel to plot the data.
Continued the flight toward KHYA and checked with Hyannis tower to see if they were getting position/altitude info from my transponder. Their observations agreed with what I was showing for position and altitude.
Did some slow flight, stalls, steep turns, basic airwork and worked with the Digitrak heading and altitude hold functions.
I still need to get more good data for glide info at idle and various descent airspeeds.
